Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andrew Couzens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth E. White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Wittingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Eddie Wittingham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kenneth E. White was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Eddie Wittingham came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Wittingham couldn't finish the play. Kenneth E. White stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derek Findley's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Boyce in the 26th minute of play forced Brimhaven FC's goalkeeper Kenneth E. White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Theo Gates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Boyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth E. White having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Boyce in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth E. White prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenneth E. White didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Wittingham went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Tommy Boyce made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth E. White. Brimhaven FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Eddie Wittingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth E. White having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Boyce was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Tommy Boyce could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Kenneth E. White however easily saved by the left post. Phil Ambrose hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Eddie Wittingham got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Brimhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Gates to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Findley in the 71st minute of play forced Brimhaven FC's goalkeeper Kenneth E. White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Partridge hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Brimhaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Wittingham came free, but Kenneth E. White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth E. White made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derek Findley in the 75th minute. When Andrew Couzens fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brimhaven FC's protests and gave Andrew Couzens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Tommy Boyce fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A well placed Eddie Wittingham short distance shot in the 83rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derek Findley in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth E. White saved Brimhaven FC from getting behind. Tommy Boyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Kenneth E. White successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Brimhaven FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lisburn Distillery F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
