Spectators: 9440 (Terracing: 7125, Seating: 2125, VIP seats: 190) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hans Smefeldt kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Yapton got a freekick which was hit by 乔棋骏. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hans Smefeldt sped through Yapton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus King. In the 8th minute, Marlon Mumford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus King was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Flamengo fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Flamengo's Hans Smefeldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute, Marlon Mumford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus King was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Yapton getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Justin Leatherdale hit a great ball. Keith Ripley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus King stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Smefeldt's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Rain Kuusk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus King having to make a save. Andrew Gillespie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Rory Trimble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Trimble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 柯誉海 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoff McParland in the 42nd minute. Hans Smefeldt took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus King. Marcus King dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

柯誉海 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Stone, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Yapton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 乔棋骏 to maneuver through the defense. Marcus King came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Hans Smefeldt. But to his dismay, Hans Smefeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 57 minutes into the match, Yapton's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon Mumford came free, but Marcus King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Rory Trimble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Trimble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Geoff McParland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 柯誉海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yapton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Hans Smefeldt scored to the left of an out of position Marcus King, making the score, 0-7. Justin Leatherdale hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Andrew Gillespie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus King. Yapton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Gillespie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Justin Leatherdale's late challenge caught a Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Leatherdale helped the player get up and apologised. Ciarán Jones scored 1-8 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 柯誉海, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff McParland in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 柯誉海 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Miles Mabbutt made a precise shot to the right of 柯誉海. Flamengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. After a rather tough play, Yapton's Tony Stone got a free kick in the 95th minute.
