Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Bibby in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Garstang AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Beck to maneuver through the defense. When Rhys Bibby came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cheadle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rhys Bibby couldn't finish the play. Terry Mayfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ray Folwill made a huge save. Witomir Jarocewicz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Garstang AFC's Florencio Maureo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phillip Woodhall came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garstang AFC reached it. Ray Folwill was a little too slow when Rhys Bibby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-1. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Bibby in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Terry Mayfield had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Folwill. Garstang AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terry Mayfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ray Folwill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Bibby, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Moss was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Alan da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Folwill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheadle's Phillip Woodhall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Cheadle from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Garstang AFC defense, Terry Mayfield kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ray Folwill. The Garstang AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ray Folwill should have stopped the shot. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Mayfield in the 65th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ray Folwill showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 84 played minutes Cheadle got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Rolandsson. Henry Moss who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Phillip Woodhall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan da Fonseca in the 88th minute of the match. Terry Mayfield took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ray Folwill. Ray Folwill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Bibby in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Alan da Fonseca put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ray Folwill. Cheadle's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
