Owen Hopker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Couzens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth E. White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Wild in the 15th minute of the match. Kenneth E. White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kenneth E. White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth E. Sullivan in the 27th minute of play. When Kenneth E. Sullivan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intrusive Thoughts's protests and gave Kenneth E. Sullivan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Intrusive Thoughts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth E. Sullivan to maneuver through the defense. Owen Hopker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Gates, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 47 minutes of play Brimhaven FC's Neil Partridge was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 49th minute, Andrew Couzens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Damien Fish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute of the match, Jim Bannister tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kenneth E. White saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th match minute, Brimhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Fish to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Damien Fish who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrew Wild in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kenneth E. White, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrew Wild could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Kenneth E. White made a huge save. When Willie Adams fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intrusive Thoughts's protests and gave Willie Adams a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Intrusive Thoughts got a freekick which was hit by Willie Adams. Andrew Wild succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 79th playminute. The supporters of Intrusive Thoughts booed when Brimhaven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Brimhaven FC got a freekick which was hit by Phil Ambrose. In the 89th minute, Jim Bannister got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Damien Fish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brimhaven FC's zone, Jim Bannister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth E. White came out of the goal and Jim Bannister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Owen Hopker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spike Caddell, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
