The Lisburn Distillery F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Derek Findley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some careless play in the Nottingham Forest defense, Derek Findley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus King. The Nottingham Forest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus King should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
The wind increased when Ciarán Jones made the kick off in the second half. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Neil Deacon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus King made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Derek Findley sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Derek Findley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Marcus King was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juvenal Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Stone, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Karl Pointon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Juvenal Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciarán Jones in the 81st minute of the match. Marcus King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Wittingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tony Stone came free, but Juvenal Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Stone in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geoff McParland who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Nottingham Forest's corner Geoff McParland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juvenal Moreira quite easily take care of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Derek Findley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Marcus King was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neil Deacon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
