Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Bannister to make the kick off. The supporters of Rawdon FC booed when Intrusive Thoughts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Rawdon FC's Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Owen Hopker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 70th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Owen Hopker having to make a save.
