Garstang AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Jewson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenneth E. White stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Jewson's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Jewson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth E. White saved Brimhaven FC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Anselmo Spione got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ray Folwill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Couzens in the 16th minute of the match. Theo Gates kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Kris Jewson took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth E. White. Kenneth E. White dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Neil Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris Jewson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kenneth E. White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Brimhaven FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Couzens. In the 34th minute, Kris Jewson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth E. White was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Garstang AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anselmo Spione hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Jewson in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth E. White saved Brimhaven FC from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Kris Jewson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kenneth E. White was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tim Beck fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garstang AFC's protests and gave Tim Beck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Tim Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

59 minutes into the game, Garstang AFC's Kris Jewson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth E. White made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 66 minutes Brimhaven FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florencio Maureo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Garstang AFC's corner Florencio Maureo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenneth E. White quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brimhaven FC's zone, Kris Jewson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth E. White came out of the goal and Kris Jewson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Kris Jewson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Brimhaven FC's Kenneth E. White. Kenneth E. White was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 played minutes Garstang AFC got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Literski. Kris Jewson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Folwill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damien Fish in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Fish got free with Ray Folwill in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Golo Kante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kris Jewson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kenneth E. White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Folwill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Partridge in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neil Partridge in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Folwill saved Garstang AFC from getting behind. When Andrew Couzens came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Brimhaven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Couzens couldn't finish the play. Brimhaven FC's Kenneth E. White played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Jewson in the 94th minute of play. Anselmo Spione struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kenneth E. White didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang AFC.
