Spectators: 9149 (Terracing: 6700, Seating: 2350, VIP seats: 99) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jim Bannister got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, 许俊鸿 notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker. In the 12th minute of the match Gomersal AFC got a corner. Intrusive Thoughts's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ty Dunlop ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gomersal AFC's Blair Neill got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max Rider kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Gomersal AFC's Ty Dunlop shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Owen Hopker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gomersal AFC reached it. After 22 minutes, 许俊鸿 made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Owen Hopker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Neill in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Blair Neill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 许俊鸿 might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Owen Hopker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 许俊鸿 ran back to his position shaking his head. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 许俊鸿 in the 29th minute of play. Blair Neill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Hopker having to interfere. Blair Neill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Owen Hopker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blair Neill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, 许俊鸿 put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Owen Hopker. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 许俊鸿 was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Intrusive Thoughts defense, 许俊鸿 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Owen Hopker. The Intrusive Thoughts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Owen Hopker should have stopped the shot. Blair Neill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, 许俊鸿 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Owen Hopker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Rashleigh in the 58th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 许俊鸿's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Owen Hopker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, 许俊鸿 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Owen Hopker. Intrusive Thoughts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 许俊鸿 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Blair Neill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Hopker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 许俊鸿 got free with Owen Hopker in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, 许俊鸿 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Owen Hopker, 0-8. Blair Neill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Intrusive Thoughts's goal looked a bit too open when 许俊鸿 came free, but Owen Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Intrusive Thoughts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stu Sherman to maneuver through the defense. Owen Hopker was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ty Dunlop. 许俊鸿 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Hopker having to interfere. In the 91st play minute 许俊鸿 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Owen Hopker. 0-10. Blair Neill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Hopker having to interfere. When the match was over Gomersal AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Intrusive Thoughts throughout the match.
