Viktor Låsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Vestlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. GFK Amarant's Elliot Säv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Åman in the 16th minute of play. If Niklas Hagström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match Per-Erik Ekblom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliot Säv showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Ahlgren in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliot Säv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, GFK Amarant's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Ahlgren came free, but Elliot Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Ove Åman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Elliot Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Ove Åman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliot Säv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GFK Amarant's zone, Inge Ahlgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Säv came out of the goal and Inge Ahlgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elliot Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Åman in the 46th minute of the match. When Karles Aurelius fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GFK Amarant's protests and gave Karles Aurelius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GFK Amarant getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Karles Aurelius hit a great ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Sven-Ove Åman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GFK Amarant's Elliot Säv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inge Ahlgren to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, GFK Amarant's goalkeeper Elliot Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Ove Åman. Niklas Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Låsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Vestlund having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Åman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elliot Säv. Sven-Ove Åman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. With a little luck, GFK Amarant's Elliot Säv got control of the ball when Sven-Ove Åman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inge Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sjötofta's goalkeeper Mark Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoffer Askstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Askstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christoffer Askstedt hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Ola Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GFK Amarant's protests and gave Ola Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sjötofta booed when GFK Amarant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Inge Ahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Henrik Vall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sjötofta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
