Spectators: 7960 (Terracing: 5971, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henry Tolsson kicked off to start the match. Mikael Sjögren was a little too slow when Nisse Jul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Leonardo Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gösta Ekgren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Henry Tolsson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Folke Bure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomerang Bombers. After 17 minutes of play, Boomerang Bombers's Henry Tolsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, North Pole Kickers's Nisse Jul ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikael Sjögren. Mikael Sjögren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Jörn Hellsing made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Michael Nyberg. Nisse Jul's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mikael Sjögren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leonardo Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tolsson in the 28th minute of play. Arman Högström struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Folke Bure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomerang Bombers. Mikael Sjögren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nisse Jul in the 39th minute. If Nisse Jul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jan Wallman. Arman Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Henry Tolsson made a precise shot to the right of Folke Bure. North Pole Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nisse Jul was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match North Pole Kickers got a corner. Boomerang Bombers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gösta Ekgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. 54 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Nisse Jul came free, but Mikael Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Henry Tolsson notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure. Folke Bure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michael Nyberg got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arman Högström. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tolsson in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Tolsson in the 67th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's Nisse Jul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match North Pole Kickers got a corner. Boomerang Bombers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gösta Ekgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led North Pole Kickers's Gösta Ekgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikael Sjögren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Henry Tolsson succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. The throw-in from Jörn Hellsing in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Pole Kickers's Peter Arvidsson. 86 minutes into the game, Boomerang Bombers's Åke Lundström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Folke Bure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Folke Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Anders Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boomerang Bombers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
