Olle Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Vennerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Ahlerot came free, but Mikael Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Alfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mikael Vennerström made a huge save. With a little luck, Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström got control of the ball when Orvar Alfors tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Ahlerot in the 41st minute of play forced Överås BK's goalkeeper Mikael Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olle Biörkquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Fransson went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Alfors to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Överås BK's zone, Gerard Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Vennerström came out of the goal and Gerard Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th match minute, Överås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. When Orvar Alfors came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tuve fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvar Alfors couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henric Magnusson during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Överås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. The Tuve fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Överås BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Överås BK.
