Gergely Szűcs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, aa sweden's Gergely Szűcs got control of the ball when Sten Melberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 13th minute of play forced aa sweden's goalkeeper Gergely Szűcs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Lennart Brander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Kristiansson. Di Röe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Brander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute Sten Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gergely Szűcs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, aa sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Melberg came free, but Gergely Szűcs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Melberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gergely Szűcs came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Melberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mecnun Erçelik in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sten Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Di Röe's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Melberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gergely Szűcs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. George Kristiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes aa sweden got a freekick which was hit by Roger Östman. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Skoog in the 43rd minute of play. George Kristiansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Skoog went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Melberg was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Mecnun Erçelik tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Di Röe's Sten Melberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gergely Szűcs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Di Röe were awarded a corner. Herman Benett went to the cornerflag to take it. Di Röe's Herman Benett was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gergely Szűcs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gergely Szűcs came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Sten Melberg. But to his dismay, Sten Melberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Skoog in the 73rd minute of play. Sten Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Roger Östman with Dick Kristiansson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 78 minutes into the game, Håkan Skoog recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Kristiansson. Håkan Skoog showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Di Röe's Sten Melberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gergely Szűcs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herman Benett's late challenge caught a aa sweden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herman Benett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Benett to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Månsson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in aa sweden's zone, Sten Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gergely Szűcs came out of the goal and Sten Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Di Röe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching aa sweden's performance. The match ended with a win for aa sweden.
