Mikael Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Porto in the 27th minute of play. Jan Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nick Pope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Henric Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajen's Nick Pope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Sugar in the 33rd minute of play. Mikael Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Porto in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Bajen. Fazıl Hüsnü Toygun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mikael Vennerström. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Sugar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Överås BK's zone, Baldomero Sugar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Vennerström came out of the goal and Baldomero Sugar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Baldomero Sugar sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Bajen's Baldomero Sugar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mikael Vennerström. Mikael Vennerström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The supporters of Bajen booed when Överås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Baldomero Sugar took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Mikael Vennerström to make any attempt to save it. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Porto in the 76th minute of play. Baldomero Sugar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mikael Vennerström made a huge save. With his leg Mikael Vennerström managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Bajen's Baldomero Sugar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baldomero Sugar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Mikael Vennerström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Bajen's Sidney Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mikael Vennerström. That made the score 0-8 after 89 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Sugar came free, but Mikael Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Överås BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bajen's performance. The match ended with a win for Bajen.
