The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Henry Roos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hubert Caspersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubert Caspersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Roos went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hubert Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Roos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hubert Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Roos in the 13th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Henry Roos sped through SouthSideStockholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hubert Caspersson. Henry Roos struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hubert Caspersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honung. When Henry Roos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Honung fans jumped to their feet. The SouthSideStockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Caspersson should have stopped the shot. Henry Roos scored 0-5 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Caspersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Henry Roos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Roos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SouthSideStockholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 39 minutes into the match, Henry Roos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Caspersson. SouthSideStockholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Roos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The Honung fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Honung's Henry Roos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Roos made a kick off. With splendid footwork Henry Roos arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-9 by the left pole in the game's 51st minute. 0-10 became the score in the 55th minute when Henry Roos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benne M'ghirbi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Honung's Henry Roos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Caspersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honung's Johan Kilström was substituted for Juan Manuel Vargas. Jens-Åke Runberg's late challenge caught a Honung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Gunnarsson during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ove Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 81st minute of the match Jens-Åke Runberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jens-Åke Runberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
