A sloppy throw-in by Jörn Hellsing in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pil SK's Dan Västberg. After 16 played minutes Lars-Erik Lindsten rounded Boomerang Bombers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikael Sjögren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Rudolf Blomkvist's late challenge caught a Boomerang Bombers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars-Erik Lindsten to make the kick off. Edward Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Harald Lindell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Lindsten couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 72nd minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Freddie Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Rosendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Boomerang Bombers's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Boomerang Bombers may have spent more time on the ball, but Pil SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
