A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Ove Hansson in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by North Pole Kickers's Gösta Ekgren. Tobias Kellbergs short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Folke Bure to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mikael Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Byström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tobias Kellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Överås BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Kellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Bure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Kellberg came free, but Folke Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Tholsson came free, but Mikael Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villiam Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Folke Bure successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Villiam Tholsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Villiam Tholsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Tholsson in the 22nd minute of play. After 27 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Peter Arvidsson. Douglas Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Folke Bure made a huge save. After 33rd play minutes Tobias Kellberg shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Folke Bure and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th minute Tobias Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Villiam Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Tobias Kellberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Bure. Tobias Kellberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Tobias Kellberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Folke Bure skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villiam Tholsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of North Pole Kickers booed when Överås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Peter Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villiam Tholsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mikael Vennerström made a huge save. Villiam Tholsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. North Pole Kickers made a substitution. Andréas Åkerman replaced Henrik Back. After 70 minutes of play, Överås BK's Tobias Kellberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Magnusson in the 72nd minute of the match. Villiam Tholsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Jan Wallman got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Douglas Fransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Bure was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Villiam Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Pole Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Tholsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Bure having to interfere. The supporters of Överås BK booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
