Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Roos started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Honung's Henry Roos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Lindell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Pil SK booed when Honung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Mager didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Teofil Lewicki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pil SK's Rudolf Blomkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 14th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Ed De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Henry Roos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game, Henry Roos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed De Goeij saved Honung from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars-Erik Lindsten to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Pil SK defense, Henry Roos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harald Lindell. The Pil SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harald Lindell should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Henry Roos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honung's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Roos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Lindell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honung's Simon Lertora was substituted for Henry Roos. Harald Lindell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Lertora's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes in the game Osvald Ennegren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Angel Lehoi. Harald Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lertora, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Simon Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Simon Lertora notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pil SK's Harald Lindell. Harald Lindell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Pil SK's Pelle Lindmark got a free kick in the 79th minute. Pil SK made a substitution. Torbjörn Rosendal replaced Lars-Erik Lindsten. Pelle Lindmark kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Lehoi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harald Lindell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harald Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lertora in the 87th minute of play. Honung's Simon Lertora managed to work through Pil SK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Simon Lertora dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Harald Lindell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Lertora's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Pil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Lindmark to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Pil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Lertora came free, but Harald Lindell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honung had played much better football throughout.
