Nick Pope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Lehoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Baldomero Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Honung's Henry Roos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nick Pope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Henry Roos made a precise shot to the right of Nick Pope. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 25 minutes of play, Honung's Henry Roos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nick Pope was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nick Pope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Roos in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Sugar got free with Ed De Goeij in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ed De Goeij had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sidney Porto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 42 minutes Honung's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fazıl Hüsnü Toygun who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bajen's Fazıl Hüsnü Toygun to fire away a dangerous shot which Ed De Goeij despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nick Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Roos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Porto made a kick off. The supporters of Bajen booed when Honung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Lehoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Nick Pope skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Honung's Denílson Albuquerque managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karl-Magnus Åkesson in the 59 minute of the game. Henry Roos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Pope read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Honung made a substitution. Simon Lertora replaced Angel Lehoi. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roger Lund was slow to take the kick. During this time Honung's players had a chance to rest. Ed De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Porto in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Roos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nick Pope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Honung's Henry Roos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nick Pope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ed De Goeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bajen's Rafael Bide got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Rafael Bide off the ground. Honung had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
