Per Hellgren started the match with the kick off. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Hellgren in the 4th minute of the match. Håkan Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Hellgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, André Kuipers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Di Marzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Andréas Linquist made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Mats Hermansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marcelo Gallarde hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hala Madrid Iraki FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Håkan Ödman hit a great ball. Per Hellgrens short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Andréas Linquist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute Stefano St. Juste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Gerazan in the 38th minute of play. When Olofsi IF's Vilgot Haegg in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sándor Markovits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilgot Haegg to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Roland Alström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Pawlak. In the 61stth minute of the game Per Hellgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olofsi IF's Andréas Linquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Kristian Tillman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andréas Linquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roland Alström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Pawlak in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hermansson in the 65th minute of play forced Olofsi IF's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Friberger came free, but Roland Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Hellgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Pawlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Roland Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olofsi IF's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Di Marzio in the 87th minute of play. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Haegg in the 91st minute of play. Sándor Markovits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andréas Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
