The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anthony Brunt hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Krister Svanér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen in the 9th minute of play. Peder Fernkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Linquist having to interfere. With his leg Krister Svanér managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Olofsi IF's Vilgot Haegg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Brunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enskede IK were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Olofsi IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ove Löv took the corner. Argir Stariradev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andréas Linquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Tharaldsen's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Vilgot Haegg from a close distance when the talented Krister Svanér managed to make a qualified save. Enskede IK's players were relieved. Enskede IK's Ove Löv was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andréas Linquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Krister Svanér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Haegg in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Brunt in the 37th minute of play forced Olofsi IF's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Anthony Brunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Peder Fernkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andréas Linquist was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 44th minute Argir Stariradev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Enskede IK were awarded a corner. Ove Löv went to the cornerflag to take it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilgot Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Roman Wydrych got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Haegg in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krister Svanér prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krister Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefano St. Juste, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Enskede IK's goal looked a bit too open when Stefano St. Juste came free, but Krister Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Enskede IK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Henning Dahlbom hit a great ball. Krister Svanér stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilgot Haegg's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Löv came free, but Andréas Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Argir Stariradev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andréas Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 69 minutes into the match, Enskede IK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Haegg came free, but Krister Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enskede IK's Krister Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Haegg in the 72nd minute of play. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Tharaldsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Brunt. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Andréas Linquist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Enskede IK's Krister Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano St. Juste in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Peder Fernkvist lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Andréas Linquist. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Enskede IK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
