Spectators: 10908 (Terracing: 8182, Seating: 2509, VIP seats: 217) Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Sârban in the 5th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rega Merida CF's zone, Andrzej Puchlik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Kojder came out of the goal and Andrzej Puchlik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrzej Puchlik hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Andrzej Puchlik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Kojder having to interfere. Rega Merida CF's Filcho Dzhagarov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mariusz Zalipski, made in the 19th minute of the game. Nistor Sârban made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Michael Krawczyk would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rega Merida CF's Edmund Kojder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Bartoszek in the 23rd minute of play. Cemal Palabıyık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Andrzej Puchlik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rega Merida CF's Edmund Kojder. Edmund Kojder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Puchlik, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariusz Zalipski during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Mariusz Zalipski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Nistor Sârban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Krawczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goral Zywiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filcho Dzhagarov was slow to take the kick. During this time Rega Merida CF's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Goral Zywiec's goalie and right to Cemal Palabıyık. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Goral Zywiec's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Bartoszek to make the kick off. Andrzej Puchlik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Kojder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Goral Zywiec's Andrzej Puchlik got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Nistor Sârban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Michael Krawczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Bartoszek in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Kojder saved Rega Merida CF from getting behind. Edmund Kojder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Ewertowski in the 83rd minute of the match. If Karol Swiderski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goral Zywiec made a substitution. Tanek Nowacki replaced Bennvar Springer. Goral Zywiec's Grzegorz Jajecznica was substituted for Antoni Bartoszek. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. La Piszczek replaced Filcho Dzhagarov. Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei was substituted for Andrzej Puchlik. Rega Merida CF's Wasyl Dziurowicz was substituted for Karol Swiderski. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Edmund Kojder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gao Wei Fei.
