Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lunteren VV's Demy van Dijk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Ally Boys's Klaus Brinke got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Lunteren VV's Egbert Mulders broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 12th match minute, FC Ally Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Brinke to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Egbert Mulders shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arjan Heikens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gerard Baptist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Mueller scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Floris Buring, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Demy van Dijk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arjan Heikens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jacobus de Rooy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Ally Boys's Arjan Heikens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demy van Dijk in the 29th minute of play. Floris Buring came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ally Boys's Gregor Severijnse. But to his dismay, Gregor Severijnse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gregor Severijnse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Demy van Dijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoon Broekema kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Bernard Graaf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Demy van Dijk came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Lunteren VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demy van Dijk couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Demy van Dijk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arjan Heikens. FC Ally Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demy van Dijk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jacobus de Rooy sped through FC Ally Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arjan Heikens. Arjan Heikens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demy van Dijk's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacobus de Rooy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arjan Heikens was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demy van Dijk in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arjan Heikens saved FC Ally Boys from getting behind. Demy van Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demy van Dijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arjan Heikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arjan Heikens came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lunteren VV's Jacobus de Rooy. But to his dismay, Jacobus de Rooy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. After a rather tough play, FC Ally Boys's Klaus Brinke got a free kick in the 96th minute. Lunteren VV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
