Lunteren VV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.F.C Bamster the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Lunteren VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demy van Dijk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Tigelaar in the 12th minute of play forced Lunteren VV's goalkeeper Floris Buring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Lunteren VV's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Tigelaar came free, but Floris Buring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, A.F.C Bamster's Arvid Olsson got control of the ball when Jacobus de Rooy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Lunteren VV defense, Lukas Tigelaar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Floris Buring. The Lunteren VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Floris Buring should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, A.F.C Bamster's Aybar Ulukan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aybar Ulukan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A.F.C Bamster protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aybar Ulukan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.F.C Bamster! When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Lunteren VV's Egbert Mulders got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arvid Olsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobus de Rooy got free with Arvid Olsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukas Tigelaar made a kick off. Aldo Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobus de Rooy in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvid Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobus de Rooy in the 56th minute of play forced A.F.C Bamster's goalkeeper Arvid Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Lukas Tigelaar took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Floris Buring to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Barry Smits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Demy van Dijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was beautiful to see A.F.C Bamster's Barry Smits in action when he in the 81st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Demy van Dijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arvid Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lunteren VV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.F.C Bamster were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
