Bob Karelse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Heuvel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maurits Weinands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurits Weinands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward van Zeist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward van Zeist might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurits Weinands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward van Zeist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Otto Heuvel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Plenter shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Edward van Zeist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward van Zeist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurits Weinands was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Edward van Zeist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurits Weinands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurits Weinands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward van Zeist in the 65th minute of the match. If Elbert Randag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC Killer Elite booed when Stevensweert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Sneijder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Stevensweert got a freekick which was hit by Leendert van Bommel. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bob Karelse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Killer Elite's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Karelse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurits Weinands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward van Zeist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Otto Heuvel came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Killer Elite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Heuvel couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Stevensweert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leendert van Bommel to maneuver through the defense. FC Killer Elite walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
