Humberto Saveneij helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Weena got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Saveneij. Arnold Robbermond kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Cadier booed when Weena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Hartogh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Weena's Simon Hartogh tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Tommie Peters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gerben Eylens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Peters, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Tommie Peters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Erwin Bömker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerben Eylens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfred van der Laan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gerben Eylens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Tommie Peters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ab Spiering was the one to do the kick off. Tommie Peters took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerben Eylens. Gerben Eylens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Niels-Jan Reitsema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gerben Eylens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerben Eylens was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Hub Roelofsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hub Roelofsen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a little luck, Weena's Gerben Eylens got control of the ball when Tommie Peters tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cadier's Arnold Robbermond got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Weena's goalkeeper Gerben Eylens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommie Peters. Gerben Eylens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Peters, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Arnold Robbermond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerben Eylens having to interfere. After some careless play in the Weena defense, Tommie Peters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerben Eylens. The Weena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerben Eylens should have stopped the shot. After 92 minutes, Wilfred van der Laan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadier and the Weena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Wilfred van der Laan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Gerben Eylens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arnold Robbermond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadier's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Robbermond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerben Eylens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cadier's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
