In the 7th minute, Gerald Deijkers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, boeloes's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Thomasse came free, but Ferry Douwes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes boeloes got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Hyska. In the 12th match minute, boeloes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold van Zijl to maneuver through the defense. Robin Oss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferry Douwes having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vili Paukkunen during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute Robin Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Douwes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Loveren got a corner. boeloes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin Oss ran over to the corner to take the kick. 21 minutes into the match, Milosz Hyska dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo van Halst, 1-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Robin Oss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but boeloes's Ferry Douwes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo van Halst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Peekhaus in the 27th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, John Zeijlemaker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ferry Douwes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 played minutes boeloes got a freekick which was hit by Harold van Zijl. 46 minutes into the match, boeloes's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oss came free, but Ferry Douwes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerald Deijkers made a kick off. Hugo van Halst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Peekhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of boeloes booed when Loveren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Akkerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerald Deijkers in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo van Halst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Loveren's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Hyska came free, but Hugo van Halst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, John Zeijlemaker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, boeloes's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oss came free, but Ferry Douwes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Loveren got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Bosma. Samuel Peekhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo van Halst having to interfere.
