Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Tommie Peters made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Tommie Peters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Lanting was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With his leg Iwan Lanting managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Cadier's Tommie Peters fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cadier's Tommie Peters got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pesse's zone, Hub Roelofsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Lanting came out of the goal and Hub Roelofsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tommie Peters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommie Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjoerd Beishuizen lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Richard Anker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Laurens de Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommie Peters had several of the Pesse's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Iwan Lanting as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Cadier fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Cadier's Tommie Peters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, Tommie Peters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnold Robbermond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Lanting having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Tommie Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Pesse got a freekick which was hit by Bart Griemink. 56 minutes into the game, Niels-Jan Reitsema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Iwan Lanting was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iwan Lanting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommie Peters in the 59th minute of play. If Tommie Peters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Tommie Peters made a precise shot to the right of Iwan Lanting. Pesse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Tommie Peters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cadier's Wilfred van der Laan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Lanting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommie Peters might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Lanting. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommie Peters ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute of the match Cadier got a corner. Pesse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilfred van der Laan ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Tommie Peters at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Pesse. 8-0. After some careless play in the Pesse defense, Tommie Peters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Lanting. The Pesse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Lanting should have stopped the shot. Iwan Lanting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Peters in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Cadier got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Robbermond. 95 minutes into the game, Pesse's Joep Castelen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurens de Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Cadier's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
