Spectators: 7375 (Terracing: 6075, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) Ed Schmidt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Hogeweg FC booed when Loveren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Zeijlemaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Hogeweg FC's Arie van Rhijn seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arie van Rhijn the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hogeweg FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arie van Rhijn had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Arie van Rhijn kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Loveren's Robin Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute John Zeijlemaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Pierre Pik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hogeweg FC booed when Loveren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joep van Zalen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Hogeweg FC got a freekick which was hit by Taco Oosterbaan. When Robin Oss came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Loveren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Oss couldn't finish the play. Lukas Sundén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Zeijlemaker in the 30th minute of the match. Lukas Sundén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Thomasse, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th match minute, Hogeweg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Vliet to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Zeijlemaker in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Sundén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukas Sundén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Zeijlemaker went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Felix Thomasse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Loveren's John Zeijlemaker in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hogeweg FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48thth minute of the game John Zeijlemaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hogeweg FC's Lukas Sundén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Hugo van Halst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Vliet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hogeweg FC's Lukas Sundén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Hogeweg FC from getting a goal against them. Hogeweg FC's Lukas Sundén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Zeijlemaker in the 62nd minute of play. A hard shot 65 in the game by John Zeijlemaker from a close distance when the talented Lukas Sundén managed to make a qualified save. Hogeweg FC's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that John Zeijlemaker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukas Sundén was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Hogeweg FC's Jef Batum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo van Halst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lukas Sundén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Zeijlemaker in the 72nd minute of the match. John Zeijlemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lukas Sundén managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Loveren's John Zeijlemaker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. John Zeijlemaker had several of the Hogeweg FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Lukas Sundén as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 85th match minute, Loveren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Akkerman to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Tommie Reinders sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo van Halst skillfully saved the ball. After 88 minutes, Joris Nedergaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loveren and the Hogeweg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ed Schmidt's late challenge caught a Loveren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Lukas Sundén, was totally fooled by Loveren's John Zeijlemaker, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 98th play minutes John Zeijlemaker shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Lukas Sundén and just under the crossbar into goal. Loveren played a much better game than Hogeweg FC and deserved their victory. The Hogeweg FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
