The supporters of Soerendonk HC booed when Gramsbergen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Bastiaan Heijen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Uter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Soerendonk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Koos Post came free, but Ulf Uter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hub Boeringe couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ludomil Barys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Schiphouwer was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match, Ludomil Barys tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bill Schiphouwer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Gramsbergen FC's zone, Ludomil Barys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Schiphouwer came out of the goal and Ludomil Barys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomil Barys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Soerendonk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hub Boeringe to maneuver through the defense. Ludomil Barys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Schiphouwer having to interfere. Bill Schiphouwer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Bosz in the 56th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Kelvin Oortwijn put in a rough tackle. In the 60th minute, Thijs Heida made a precise shot to the right of Bill Schiphouwer. Gramsbergen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bill Schiphouwer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hub Boeringe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Gramsbergen FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Mensing. Hub Boeringe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Ludomil Barys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gramsbergen FC's Bill Schiphouwer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bill Schiphouwer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hub Boeringe in the 96th minute of play. Soerendonk HC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
