The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Simon Hartogh the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Weena protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Simon Hartogh had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, Simon Hartogh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Reiling in the 4th minute of play forced Weena's goalkeeper Gerben Eylens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, AC Sorriso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gooitzen Witting fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Weena's Humberto Saveneij got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alexander Bleiswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Gio Sloothaak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AC Sorriso's Iwan Zorge. Iwan Zorge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Ferry Velez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerben Eylens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AC Sorriso booed when Weena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Vennegoor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Jonathan Reiling sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Weena's Gerben Eylens didn't even have to move. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gio Sloothaak sped through AC Sorriso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iwan Zorge. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gio Sloothaak got free with Iwan Zorge in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gio Sloothaak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Zorge having to interfere. Tom Trenning hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When AC Sorriso's Alexander Bleiswijk in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gio Sloothaak to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ab Spiering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Sorriso's Jonathan Reiling got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Tjeerd van den Bergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Ferry Velez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Weena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Sorriso the free kick. After 68 played minutes Weena got a freekick which was hit by Tjeerd van den Bergh. Jan Hilkes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Weena booed when AC Sorriso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Trenning didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ferry Velez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AC Sorriso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferry Velez couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Gooitzen Witting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gooitzen Witting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ger Bömker during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AC Sorriso getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ger Bömker hit a great ball. If Gooitzen Witting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Weena's Gerben Eylens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Smibum in the 90th minute of play. AC Sorriso's Tom Trenning has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Tjeerd van den Bergh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
