Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hub Boeringe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferry Douwes having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Thijs Heida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes in the game, Ludomil Barys fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ferry Douwes having to interfere. Gerald Deijkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coenraad Geraets struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ulf Uter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for boeloes. The supporters of Soerendonk HC booed when boeloes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan Weken didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, boeloes's Milosz Hyska sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulf Uter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Soerendonk HC's Billy Bosz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Milosz Hyska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Milosz Hyska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Uter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerald Deijkers kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hub Boeringe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferry Douwes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Peekhaus in the 47th minute of play forced Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
With a little luck, Soerendonk HC's Ulf Uter got control of the ball when Coenraad Geraets tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Soerendonk HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerald Deijkers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Peekhaus couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes Soerendonk HC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerald Deijkers who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on boeloes's corner Gerald Deijkers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ulf Uter quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Coenraad Geraets in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soerendonk HC's Billy Bosz. Gerald Deijkers scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Uter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerald Deijkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Uter having to interfere. With an all-out effort, boeloes's Ulf Uter threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milosz Hyska, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Soerendonk HC's Billy Bosz got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Coenraad Geraets managed to get in a good position for a shot. boeloes's supporters rose to their feet, but Coenraad Geraets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Uter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerald Deijkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ulf Uter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulf Uter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. boeloes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
