Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Patrick Famelen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franck Zuid kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Fluitende Ventieltjes FC got a freekick which was hit by Brain van der Velden. AC Sorriso were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Reiling took the corner. The corner led AC Sorriso's Mathieu Ottenhof to fire away a dangerous shot which Evert Smibum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Smibum in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Smibum saved Fluitende Ventieltjes FC from getting behind. In the 15th minute Nico Smibum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Smibum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Andriessen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Zorge having to interfere. Tom Trenning kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Humberto Andriessen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ferry Velez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the AC Sorriso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferry Velez couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franck Zuid to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, AC Sorriso's Jonathan Reiling broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Smibum in the 35th minute of play forced Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goalkeeper Evert Smibum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Smibum came free, but Evert Smibum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC Sorriso getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bram Meulman hit a great ball. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Coenraad Schreuder couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AC Sorriso. Nico Smibum struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Evert Smibum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Sorriso. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nico Smibum made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ferry Velez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Smibum. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferry Velez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 57 minutes Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Reiling who took care of the corner kick. After 58 minutes, Humberto Andriessen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluitende Ventieltjes FC and the AC Sorriso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's Humberto Andriessen got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferry Velez got free with Evert Smibum in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Nico Smibum recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evert Smibum. Nico Smibum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Evert Smibum came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Sorriso's Ferry Velez. But to his dismay, Ferry Velez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jonathan Reiling kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Fluitende Ventieltjes FC's attack was well implemented in the 76th minute, but when Humberto Andriessen was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Evert Smibum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Smibum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Andriessen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferry Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ferry Velez managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Sorriso's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferry Velez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Smibum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Smibum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferry Velez in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Sorriso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
