Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jelle Breinburg got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Richard Anker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pesse and the Cadier players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richard Anker kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Arnold Robbermond's late challenge caught a Pesse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnold Robbermond helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pesse booed when Cadier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Robbermond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommie Peters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iwan Lanting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cadier's Tommie Peters in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pesse's goalie prevented a goal. Tommie Peters might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Lanting. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommie Peters ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Cadier's Tommie Peters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Lanting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niels-Jan Reitsema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Tommie Peters put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iwan Lanting. Bart Griemink charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart Griemink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Pesse got a freekick which was hit by Bart Griemink. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommie Peters in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Lanting saved Pesse from getting behind. If Tommie Peters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, Cadier's Hub Roelofsen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Lanting was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Peters in the 34th minute of play forced Pesse's goalkeeper Iwan Lanting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommie Peters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pesse's zone, Arnold Robbermond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Lanting came out of the goal and Arnold Robbermond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Pesse defense, Tommie Peters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Lanting. The Pesse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Lanting should have stopped the shot. Laurens de Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Anker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Lanting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Robbermond in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pesse defense, Arnold Robbermond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Lanting. The Pesse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Lanting should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommie Peters to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommie Peterss short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Iwan Lanting to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iwan Lanting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Peters, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 0-5 became the score in the 64th minute when Tommie Peters elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Niels-Jan Reitsema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Iwan Lanting successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Iwan Lanting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Peters's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Tommie Peters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Lanting having to make a save. With a little luck, Pesse's Iwan Lanting got control of the ball when Tommie Peters tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommie Peters got free with Iwan Lanting in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niels-Jan Reitsema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Lanting having to interfere.
