If Leon Vliet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Loveren got a freekick which was hit by Roland Pothuizen. Arvid Melin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hugo van Halst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hogeweg FC. Dolf Bosma lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 14 played minutes Loveren got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Bosma. After having played for 15 minutes, Arvid Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hogeweg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvid Melin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loveren's Felix Thomasse got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joep van Zalen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If John Zeijlemaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Hogeweg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arie van Rhijn to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Sundén was a little too slow when Joep van Zalen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. John Zeijlemakers short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Lukas Sundén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hugo van Halst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jef Batum in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Hogeweg FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jef Batum hit a great ball. When Loveren's John Zeijlemaker in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hogeweg FC's goalie prevented a goal.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, John Zeijlemaker put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lukas Sundén. John Zeijlemaker struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. After 67 played minutes Loveren got a freekick which was hit by Henk Akkerman. In the 72nd minute of the match Loveren got a corner. Hogeweg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin Oss ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute of the match Robin Oss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lukas Sundén skillfully saved the ball. John Zeijlemaker scored 3-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lukas Sundén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo van Halst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Pik in the 87th minute of play. Jef Batum's late challenge caught a Loveren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jef Batum helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hogeweg FC's Jef Batum got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Zeijlemaker in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukas Sundén saved Hogeweg FC from getting behind. John Zeijlemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Loveren fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hogeweg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
