The audience was convinced that Hans Fokkelman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Lanting was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Iwan Lanting as he didn't even see the shot coming. Iwan Lanting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Wikenburg in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Fokkelman got free with Iwan Lanting in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Pesse getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luc Theuws hit a great ball.
