In the 6th minute Ab Spiering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Uter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulf Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ab Spiering, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ab Spiering struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ulf Uter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weena. 16 minutes into the match, Soerendonk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ab Spiering came free, but Ulf Uter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gio Sloothaak in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Johannes Nibbelke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ab Spiering managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weena's supporters rose to their feet, but Ab Spiering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Uter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ab Spiering, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ulf Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ab Spiering in the 26th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ab Spiering to strike the kick off in the second half. Ulf Uter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gooitzen Witting in the 72nd minute of play. If Ab Spiering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Weena booed when Soerendonk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Heida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Uter made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jan Hilkes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ab Spiering in the 84th minute of play forced Soerendonk HC's goalkeeper Ulf Uter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weena's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
