In the 16th minute, one of boeloes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for boeloes. Ferry Douwes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Oss in the 21st minute of the match. Joep van Zalen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When boeloes's Samuel Peekhaus in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loveren's goalie prevented a goal. Maurice de Boer helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes boeloes got a freekick which was hit by Maurice de Boer. The crowd rose to their feet as John Zeijlemaker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferry Douwes. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. boeloes's Ferry Douwes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Oss in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, boeloes's goalkeeper Ferry Douwes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Thomasse. Hugo van Halst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald Deijkers in the 37th minute of play. Felix Thomasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Samuel Peekhaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo van Halst. Loveren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Peekhaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ferry Douwes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Zeijlemaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vili Paukkunen's late challenge caught a Loveren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vili Paukkunen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, boeloes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vili Paukkunen to maneuver through the defense. Gerald Deijkers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hugo van Halst made a huge save. boeloes's Milosz Hyska got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo van Halst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Peekhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ferry Douwes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Zeijlemaker in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of boeloes booed when Loveren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joep van Zalen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Loveren got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Bosma. Hugo van Halst acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gerald Deijkers. John Zeijlemaker scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferry Douwes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes of play Loveren's Dolf Bosma was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dolf Bosma kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Felix Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Douwes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes boeloes got a freekick which was hit by Maurice de Boer. When Joep van Zalen fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loveren's protests and gave Joep van Zalen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Loveren's Joep van Zalen got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 94 minutes, John Zeijlemaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loveren's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Zeijlemaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Loveren were victorious despite being under pressure from boeloes for much of the match.
