Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pär Kleen got the match started through his kick off. Joost Wander's late challenge caught a Weena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joost Wander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Weena booed when Busselman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Wander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Gooitzen Witting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Melchor Goi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gooitzen Witting, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Joost Wander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tjeerd van den Bergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Emiel Franssen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Busselman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weena the free kick. After 21 played minutes Busselman got a freekick which was hit by Emiel Franssen. After having played for 22 minutes, Simon Hartogh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Hartogh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Busselman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Nieuzyla to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Busselman got a freekick which was hit by Julian Nieuzyla. In the 37th minute, Bayu Zubir made a precise shot to the right of Gerben Eylens. Weena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Weena getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jan Vennegoor hit a great ball. With a little luck, Weena's Gerben Eylens got control of the ball when Julian Nieuzyla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Nieuzyla hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Weena's Tjeerd van den Bergh got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tjeerd van den Bergh to strike the kick off in the second half. Melchor Goi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tjeerd van den Bergh in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Busselman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Nieuzyla to maneuver through the defense. Tjeerd van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Melchor Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gooitzen Witting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Busselman's Julian Nieuzyla got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayu Zubir in the 70th minute of play forced Weena's goalkeeper Gerben Eylens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Weena booed when Busselman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Gârniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gooitzen Witting came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Weena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gooitzen Witting couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Weena's goal looked a bit too open when Bayu Zubir came free, but Gerben Eylens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jan Hilkes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tjeerd van den Bergh kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pär Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerben Eylens having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Weena left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Busselman.
