If Fred De Weijngaerden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of New Gooxtonian Boys booed when boeloes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coenraad Geraets didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, New Gooxtonian Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Fred De Weijngaerden came free, but Coenraad Wilmink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred De Weijngaerden might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coenraad Wilmink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred De Weijngaerden ran back to his position shaking his head. Coenraad Wilmink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred De Weijngaerden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fred De Weijngaerden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coenraad Wilmink was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Sipke van Zeist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Deijkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurice Wikenburg to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Wikenburg in the 54th minute of play forced boeloes's goalkeeper Ferry Douwes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Gooxtonian Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Fokkelman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferry Douwes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerald Deijkers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. boeloes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Milosz Hyska managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. boeloes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milosz Hyska was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milosz Hyska struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Coenraad Wilmink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for boeloes. In the 86th minute, New Gooxtonian Boys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Milosz Hyska fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gerald Deijkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Wilmink having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gerald Deijkers managed to get in a good position for a shot. boeloes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Deijkers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coenraad Wilmink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerald Deijkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The New Gooxtonian Boys players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
