After 10 played minutes Calciatori FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Jaccarini. Emanuel Pinho made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Kim Bolas sent off a good shot on target. Mike Axisa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calciatori FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Bolas got free with Emanuel Pinho in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 雷国晨 in the 31st minute of play. Mike Axisa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 雷国晨, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Vasiliu came free, but Mike Axisa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 雷国晨 in the 42nd minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Sandu Vasiliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Bolas in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Vasiliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Kim Bolas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sliema Dragons FC and the Calciatori FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Vasiliu in the 51st minute of play. Sandu Vasiliu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mike Axisa came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandu Vasiliu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 61st minute. 雷国晨 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mike Axisa made a huge save. Leszek Cupial kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. In the 70th minute, Leszek Cupial hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Sandu Vasiliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökmen Ülkümen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Axisa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Axisa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Calciatori FC's Gökmen Ülkümen. But to his dismay, Gökmen Ülkümen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Emanuel Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dejan Cassar in the 77th minute of play. If Dejan Cassar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Calciatori FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Cassar came free, but Emanuel Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calciatori FC made a substitution. Robby Baggio replaced 雷国晨. Keith Ciantar got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cristian Calboreanu. Dejan Cassar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dejan Cassar ran back to his position shaking his head. With 92 minutes on the clock, Edgar Mochadlo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
