With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Bolas in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Cauchi saved Victoria from getting behind. After 5 minutes, Kim Bolas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Victoria's Tommy Cauchi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria's zone, Ulises Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Cauchi came out of the goal and Ulises Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Kim Bolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Cauchi. Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Bolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 14 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Cauchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Cauchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Kim Bolas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. If Kim Bolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victoria's Tommy Cauchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 41st minute of play. Kim Bolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Cauchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Bolas ran back to his position shaking his head. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Cauchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szymon Dobilas was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Cauchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Kim Bolas took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Tommy Cauchi to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Victoria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leszek Cupial was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leszek Cupial got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Cauchi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kim Bolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda was substituted for Giovanni Demicoli. Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar was substituted for Kim Bolas. In the 72nd minute, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Ulises Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Cauchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes in the game Victor Schembri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Keith De Fremeaux. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's 周斐俊 got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victoria's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Dejan Cassar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Cauchi. Dejan Cassar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dejan Cassar took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Tommy Cauchi to make any attempt to save it.
