Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Cauchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Victoria's Mario Boffa got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tommy Cauchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Buhagiar in the 35th minute of the match. Matthew Laferla hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Tommy Cauchi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Attard Gunners's Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani. But to his dismay, Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 78 minutes into the match, Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Buhagiar came free, but Tommy Cauchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Buhagiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Cauchi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Victoria's Tommy Cauchi got control of the ball when Sergen Sergen tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. In the 89th minute, Attard Gunners's Adrian Savona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Cauchi. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Cauchi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Simon Lia sent off a good shot on target.
