Mario Salerno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of André Courtois when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Koczara in the 5th minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Patryk Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Flóris Rómer. The audience was convinced that Mario Salerno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Courtois was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Patryk Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Koczara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Templars FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Swatar United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldo Alvarenga took the corner. When Alexander Tanti fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swatar United FC's protests and gave Alexander Tanti a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Tanti. In the 18th minute Stanislaw Koczara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Osvaldo Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski did a great save. Swatar United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templars FC the free kick. A collision led to Swatar United FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Leon Refalo hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Templars FC got a corner. Swatar United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Koczara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Patryk Siekierski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Koczara in the 33rd minute of the match. André Courtois made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Alexander Tanti sent off a good shot on target. Patryk Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Koczara in the 36th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Osvaldo Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patryk Siekierski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Templars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner ended in Osvaldo Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski did a great save. In the 40th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pârcălab to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislaw Koczara to make the kick off. Patryk Siekierski came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Stanislaw Koczara. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Koczara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Stanislaw Koczara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Patryk Siekierski made a huge save. In the 56th minute Templars FC were awarded a corner. Osvaldo Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Koczara, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Patryk Siekierski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patryk Siekierski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Staffan Apelqvist went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Patryk Siekierski made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Stanislaw Koczara sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Pârcălab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Sammut might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Siekierski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Sammut ran back to his position shaking his head. Brian Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Templars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvaldo Alvarenga in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Sammut in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patryk Siekierski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Blanco to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Jonathan Sammut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Brian Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swatar United FC and the Templars FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Swatar United FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Templars FC to win.
