János Földvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcell Kiss in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dávid Baroch in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Banaszak saved Valencia CF Mindszent from getting behind. Jan-Åke Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Földvári having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Thomas Sørheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. János Földvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Jan-Åke Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jan-Åke Hedlund made the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Adrian's late challenge caught a ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Adrian helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidiu Adrian kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Adrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Sørheim missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 55 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Daniel Banaszak right hand side. Jan-Åke Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. János Földvári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia CF Mindszent. Daniel Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Sehhar, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Elek Bognár replaced Lázár Lévay. In the 63rd minute, Saltuk Peykan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Banaszak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dávid Baroch's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Marcell Kiss came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Valencia CF Mindszent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcell Kiss couldn't finish the play. Valencia CF Mindszent's Bob Sinclair was substituted for Jan-Åke Hedlund. János Földvári showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elek Bognár, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilárd Gyurkovics got free with Daniel Banaszak in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bob Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Földvári having to interfere. The ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
