Fabrice Gamet started the match with the kick off. La Pointe Courte's Gianluca Prestin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jean-Pascal Weiss was a little too slow when Benny Impens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 2-0. Luc Cassagne hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Josué Pagueguy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Pascal Weiss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Philippe Legrand put in a rough tackle. A collision led to gipsy kings getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Philippe Legrand hit a great ball. Roch Felenak did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jean-Pascal Weiss 14 minutes into the match. The La Pointe Courte fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes gipsy kings got a freekick which was hit by Terry Pèlerin. In the 24th match minute, gipsy kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samy Soufflet to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Josué Pagueguy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss didn't even have to move. After 28 minutes of play, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pascal Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Gianluca Prestin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jean-Pascal Weiss came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak. But to his dismay, Roch Felenak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Dan Black charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Black the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roch Felenak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jean-Pascal Weiss came out and tried to block the shot, but Roch Felenak slotted it home off the left post making it 9-0 in the 41st minute. gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Felenak in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes of play, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pascal Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Roch Felenak came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the La Pointe Courte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Felenak couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Benny Impens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 58th minute of the match. Jean-Pascal Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Impens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite was substituted for Roch Felenak. Yves Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Pawel Harendarski replaced Josué Pagueguy. After some careless play in the gipsy kings defense, Yves Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The gipsy kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pascal Weiss should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Yves Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Pascal Weiss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. La Pointe Courte's Cidro Flores quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Terry Pèlerin, made in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Yves Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Dan Black scored 14-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Patrick Balkanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Prestin took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Gianluca Prestin sped through gipsy kings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when gipsy kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terry Pèlerin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Yves Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. La Pointe Courte's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
