Blasi Belalcaraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 played minutes Carmenin got a freekick which was hit by Estebano Guasch. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carmenin's zone, Lope Cabezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Quintas came out of the goal and Lope Cabezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corsario Negro's Lope Cabezas got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Carmenin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carmenin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
