Melting Sun FC's Leon Schiffer got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Angl FC's Kai Boris Beimler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Melting Sun FC's Lars Loos in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angl FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Folke Schenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melting Sun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Schenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melting Sun FC's Bruno Nonnenmacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Melting Sun FC from getting a goal against them. Bruno Nonnenmacher made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ali Murat Detjen sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Henning Schwanitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Angl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Kemmling to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Murat Detjen got free with Bruno Nonnenmacher in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Murat Detjen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bruno Nonnenmacher made a huge save. Bruno Nonnenmacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kester Stanke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kester Stanke in the 46th minute of play forced Melting Sun FC's goalkeeper Bruno Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Nonnenmacher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marc Blumenstiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kai Boris Beimler made a kick off. Kai Boris Beimler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Angl FC's Jonas Demuth got control of the ball when Leon Schiffer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 played minutes, Melting Sun FC's Rouven Jacobs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Demuth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Melting Sun FC reached it. After some careless play in the Angl FC defense, Lars Loos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Demuth. The Angl FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Demuth should have stopped the shot. If Leon Schiffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marc Blumenstiel fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angl FC's protests and gave Marc Blumenstiel a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Lars Loos took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Jonas Demuth to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Blumenstiel in the 84th minute of play forced Melting Sun FC's goalkeeper Bruno Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Loos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Nonnenmacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Murat Detjen in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Kester Stanke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Nonnenmacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Melting Sun FC got a freekick which was hit by Henning Schwanitz. Folke Schenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Demuth having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Melting Sun FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
