An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Bachor in the 13th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Artur Bachor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SSV Ulm 1846's Timo Courtois. Timo Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timo Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Bachor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Artur Bachor came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the KIEZKICKER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Bachor couldn't finish the play. Artur Bachor scored 2-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timo Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Kadıoğlu came free, but Timo Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KIEZKICKER's Artur Bachor got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Bachor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timo Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Bachor was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, KIEZKICKER's Artur Bachor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After some careless play in the KIEZKICKER defense, Albrecht Bosbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Theodore. The KIEZKICKER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Theodore should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Bachor in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timo Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Artur Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, KIEZKICKER's Artur Bachor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timo Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by SSV Ulm 1846's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Louis Leißner was slow to take the kick. During this time KIEZKICKER's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Frederik Strzelczyk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SSV Ulm 1846's Timo Courtois did a great save. KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Sessa in the 70th minute of play. Delmiro Jayvier scored 5-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Theodore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute Alberigo Sessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Delmiro Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Bachor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KIEZKICKER's Moises Boniel was substituted for Artur Bachor. Moises Boniel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Timo Courtois firmly grabbed it by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Alberigo Sessa notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore. Martin Theodore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Jayvier in the 91st minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SSV Ulm 1846 fully deserved thier win.
