Spectators: 10850 (Terracing: 8139, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guido Vissenaeken took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Burdzel came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Van Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mickael De Koster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, De krokante kroketjes's Mickael De Koster got control of the ball when Guido Vissenaeken tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mickael De Koster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mickael De Koster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Vissenaeken's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. De krokante kroketjes's Mickael De Koster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 19th minute of play. Mickael De Koster came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Jaspar Van Den Broeck. But to his dismay, Jaspar Van Den Broeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With his leg Mickael De Koster managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. De krokante kroketjes's Mickael De Koster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael De Koster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickael De Koster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 34th minute of the match. Mickael De Koster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 36th minute. Guido Vissenaeken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mickael De Koster made a huge save. Rodolfo Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Arnauld Van Impe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 53rd minute of play forced De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Mickael De Koster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnauld Van Impe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute of the match, Stasio Burdzel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Baia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arno Gyselinckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Vítor Baia made a huge save. Waud Huijbrechts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Arno Gyselinckx in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Burdzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Stasio Burdzel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Stasio Burdzel came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the De krokante kroketjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Burdzel couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, De krokante kroketjes's Vítor Baia threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jordy Everts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jordy Everts sent off a good shot on target. Brugge United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
