In the 16th minute, Marciano Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mathijs Rokeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Beek City's Rodriguinho de Castro got control of the ball when Karl-Heinz Kaltz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 30th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijs Rokeloos. In the 34th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. Beek City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beek City's Rodriguinho de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Beek City from getting a goal against them. Marciano Hendrickx scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathijs Rokeloos to make the kick off. Beek City's attentive Josef Valkenaers managed to snatch the ball when Jochen Van den Panhuizen made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rdth minute of the game Marciano Hendrickx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitri Diependaele. Josef Valkenaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 68th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathijs Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mathijs Rokeloos sped through Beek City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodriguinho de Castro. KFC Cromvelde's Henry Åkesson was substituted for Mathijs Rokeloos. Rodriguinho de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 81st play minutes Henry Åkesson shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Rodriguinho de Castro and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Marciano Hendrickx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodriguinho de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Åkesson in the 94th minute of the match. Beek City's Rodriguinho de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 95th minute of play. KFC Cromvelde's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
